In the framework of a visit to Comoros Islands
Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation paid a visit to Ibn Khaldun Center of Direct Aid Society within the framework of the first parliamentary friendship between the Comoros Islands and the State of Kuwait. On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation has reviewed the progress of the society work in the Comoros Islands and projects planned by the society in the state in addition to the positive results for the fifteenth surgical camp established by the society in the Comoros Islands for the fifteenth year respectively.
The center is considered as integrated unit as it has schools of all stages including Kindergarten, elementary, intermediate and secondary stages with 1300 students. Also, the center has large hospital receiving about one hundred patients daily, orphanage including 180 orphans and farm for the benefit of orphans in addition to computer center, library and a large mosque with capacity of one thousand worshipers.
