DirectAid is opening a huge water tank in Hadhramaut to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday (March 25, 2021), DirectAid – Yemen office \u2013 started operating a water tank with a capacity of (400 m3) with making pipes network extensions of different lengths of pumping and liquefying lines to make water available in many places. Such project is one of water projects in order to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people in Hadhramaut city for obtaining a clean drinking water. According to the United Nations report, there are 15.4 million people in Yemen suffering from scarcity and pollution of water.<\/p>\n

The number of beneficiaries of this project reaches more than 15,000 people. Meanwhile, DirectAid continues with more field visits to implement other water projects in Yemen to ease the access to clean drinking water. This is according to practical studies with local partners to show the extent of water need for each area and the expected number of beneficiaries. DirectAid also looks for contributing in achieving the sixth sustainable development goal regarding the access to clean drinking water for everyone at low cost by 2030.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
