The country of Senegal has recently witnessed torrential floods in many provinces, resulting in thousands of affected people and dozens of demolished homes, and many roads have stopped, in addition to the destruction of large areas of agricultural land that constitute the primary source of income for tens of thousands of families.<\/p>\n
Direct aid interventions to save those affected by the floods in Senegal<\/strong><\/p>\n Direct Aid was able to intervene quickly and early to save those affected by these disasters, as the association intervened at the beginning of last October with an initial relief campaign directed to the state of Senegal, consisting of basic foodstuffs (rice – oil – sugar – milk – pasta), with a value of 21,510 Kuwaiti dinars, and that To combat malnutrition diseases and developmental delay for children, Direct Aid aimed to save more than 30,000 affected people, then Direct Aid launched another campaign for Senegal at the beginning of this November, consisting of food and non-food items to cover the rest of the affected areas at a value of 47,370 Kuwaiti dinars. The donation is still open for this campaign to repair the effects of the flood disaster that hit most regions of the country, through which direct aid targets more than 80,000 affected people.<\/p>\n
