Direct Aid launched an urgent relief campaign on Wednesday, November 1st 2023 under the name ‘for Gaza’ to participate in helping those affected by the brutal war on the Gaza Strip, the campaign included necessary food, drinking water and shelters from clothes, blankets, tents, parcels, in addition to providing medical supplies and devices. Dr. Abdullah AbdulRahman Al-Sumait, Director and General Manager of Direct Aid Association, stated that the campaign was held in cooperation with the Kuwait Relief Association, and with the contribution of the Kuwaiti Air Force which provided an air bridge to deliver all relief aids provided by the State of Kuwait in a fast manner. Dr Al-Sumait confirmed that Direct Aid had previously participated as part of the Kuwaiti charitable societies in the “Faza\u2019a for Palestine” campaign organized by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Affairs at the beginning of the war on Gaza on the 10th of October, however the “for Gaza” campaign came as an alternative to Direct Aid\u2019s monthly held campaign 10 x 10, where Direct Aid allocated the November 10×10 campaign to help relief the people of Gaza in the extermination war they are exposed to at the present time, We pray God to protect the people of Palestine and all Muslims everywhere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
