Under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and external auditors, the assembly reviewed a landmark year of developmental breakthroughs across Africa and Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Al-Muhailan: Strategic Leaps in Community Empowerment<\/p>\n<p>In his opening address, Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Muhailan highlighted the society\u2019s tangible field impact. &#8220;We take immense pride in these qualitative leaps; our direct beneficiaries have now surpassed 13 million individuals across 31 countries,&#8221; he stated. Dr. Al-Muhailan noted that the society successfully executed 4,777 developmental projects, including the flagship &#8220;Village Revival&#8221; program, which empowered 649 African villages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key Sectoral Achievements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthcare: 839 medical convoys conducted, resulting in 35,660 life-changing eye surgeries.<\/li>\n<li>Education: Management of 311 schools serving 112,784 students, alongside three major African universities.<\/li>\n<li>Social Welfare: Comprehensive care provided for 23,019 orphans.<\/li>\n<li>Water Security: 580 water projects and artesian wells completed in Yemen, benefiting over 1.5 million people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unparalleled Financial Efficiency and Governance<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer Mr. Fareed Saud Al-Fozan presented the 2025 financial report, announcing total revenues of KWD 49.1 million. Highlighting rigorous fiscal discipline, Al-Fozan revealed that 92.2% of total expenditure (KWD 42.4 million) was funneled directly into charitable projects and aid. He also noted a remarkable 63% growth in donations over the past decade, with endowment (Waqf) returns reaching KWD 7.59 million.<\/p>\n<p>Reinforcing the society\u2019s commitment to transparency, Director General Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Sumait announced that Direct Aid achieved a near-perfect 99.13% overall governance score and a 100% rating in financial safety standards, solidifying trust among donors and regulatory bodies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Bunyan 2030&#8221;: A Vision for Sustainability<\/p>\n<p>The General Assembly officially approved an ambitious estimated budget of KWD 74.1 million for 2026.
