The health and food system in Yemen is facing a collapse in many areas due to the security conditions in the country, which has led to severe worsening in large-scale humanitarian emergencies and greatly increased human rights violations, and Yemen was facing massive levels of humanitarian aid needs, these needs resulted from Years of poverty, lack of development and environmental degradation, the number of people needing humanitarian assistance has increased catastrophically, while the real per capita gross domestic product, which is one of the lowest in the Arab world, has put pressure on coping mechanisms in the Weak communities.

Yemen has a population of 25.2 million people. Over the past period, the country has suffered from food insecurity, which has reached 10 million Yemenis most in need of food. More than 19.4 million people lack access to clean water and sanitation, 9.8 million people lack access to safe and clean water, about 14.1 million people lack access to health care, and about 3 million people remain displaced as a result of local conflicts.
