Tunisia has many poor areas suffer from a sever lack of water, and people have to take a long journey to get water. In Direct-aid we aim to ease the way for the poor families through well drilling in their areas and make the access to water much easier.
The well is drilled to the water level below the rocky layer to a depth of 120 to 200 meters and it is provided with an electric pump and an overhead tank. As well as, we provide a solar energy system to generate electricity for the pump or an electric generator in order to make sure the well will work uninterruptedly.
