The Flagy Camp in the capital, Maku, in the country of Mali, was subjected to an all-out fire. The fire caused six deaths, complete damage to tents sheltering refugee families and the death of many of their livestock.

Because of the fire, the camp lacks the least services needed by 434 families, equivalent to 2,307 people. Moreover, the camp is now a fertile environment for diseases and epidemics.

Among the needs of the affected families are the number of two wells (of a large artesian well type) to alleviate the severity and pressure of suffering.
