Alsumait University in Tanzania celebrated the graduation of the 21st batch of 2020/2021

DirectAid Society has celebrated the graduation of the 21st batch of Alsumait University in Tanzania as one of its affiliate universities in Africa for the academic year 2020/2021. The convocation ceremony included 287 graduated students from various academic faculties and disciplines in the presence of the President of Zanzibar, the First Vice President of Tanzania, the Minister of Higher Education, and the Minister of Labor to share the joy with the graduated students. The graduates expressed their gratitude to the university that embraced them throughout such an important period in their lives.

As so the total number of university graduates since its establishment has reached 4,470 male and female students. It is worth noting that the university was established in 1998 which around 23 years ago, and the number of university programs has reached 26 academic programs. In this context, DirectAid Society owns and runs 4 universities in Africa and the fifth university is under construction. This is because DirectAid aims to uplift higher education in Africa in order to contribute in solving many problems such as unemployment, ignorance and poverty.
