Ghanaian Ministry of Health, inaugurated a charitable eye camp in Ghana. The camp was funded through generous donations collected during the last ten nights of Ramadan, specifically on the blessed 29th night.

The camp achieved remarkable success by utilizing advanced medical technologies for diagnosing and treating eye conditions, as well as performing precise surgical operations to restore vision.

The camp’s outcomes included:

  • 8,000 patients were examined using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
  • 859 cases received advanced treatments ensuring quick recovery.
  • 361 successful surgical operations were performed using modern surgical techniques, addressing issues like cataracts and other visual impairments.

The organizers emphasized that the use of these advanced technologies significantly improved the quality of medical services provided and ensured successful outcomes for patients, giving hope to many who had been suffering from severe vision problems.

This initiative is part of Direct Aid’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare access and combat eye diseases in underserved communities by employing cutting-edge technologies and skilled medical expertise.
