The Abdullah Al-Owaisi Center in Kumasi organized an important awareness lecture following the Ghanaian Ministry of Health’s announcement of monkeypox cases, aiming to raise health awareness within the community.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Abdul Basit Seydou and Dr. Ilham Salifu, members of the Muslim Medical Students Association at Kumasi University. The session covered the modes of disease transmission and the most effective personal and collective preventive measures.
The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the attending orphans, who actively participated with questions and comments, demonstrating their benefit from the health information provided.
This initiative is part of the Abdullah Al-Owaisi Center’s ongoing efforts to enhance health education and support public safety within the local community.
