Direct Aid Association’s tour to support education in Africa

Dr. Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Muhailan – Chairman of the Board of Direct Aid Association – finished an important visit to several African countries to sign agreements and holding coordination meetings in order to develop educational facilities and Direct Aid educational projects.
Dr. Al-Muhailan stated that the first of these efforts was in Kenya to sign an agreement with the African Endowment for Education and Development to allocate grants and scholarships to students of the University of Nation in Kenya, which will provide a high-quality education opportunity for students who are unable to complete education because of their living conditions.
The visit to the Republic of Somalia was also successful through signing an agreement with Somali Premier Bank to provide grants and scholarships to students of the University of Simad in Somalia, and establishing a specialized clinic at the University to develop the level of medical services provided to the students and people.

Then, Dr. Al-Muhailan and the delegation of Direct Aid participated in the graduating ceremony of the seventeenth batch of Sumait University in Zanzibar, which reached 461 students; ready to join the labor market and contribute to the development of their communities.

Dr. Al-Muhailan said in his statement that the delegation of Direct Aid concluded his tour by signing an agreement with the owner and management of the Islamic University of Morogoro in Tanzania to be included under the ownership and management of Direct Aid Association. He pointed out that this great achievement achieved by this visit is an important addition to achieve Direct Aid strategy in supporting education, as it runs (4) universities, all of which achieved local and international standards of excellence.
