Direct Aid launched the “The Best Days” campaigns (the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah) as part of the Aid Season. The association offers a variety of projects during this time to serve the most impoverished communities in Africa. This facilitates the generous donors’ charitable efforts during these blessed days by launching a daily campaign at 10 AM to support a specific project until the last day, Arafat Day.
The first day of the campaign focuses on building schools that can accommodate thousands of students in Africa and Yemen. The second day is dedicated to a water supply campaign in Somalia to serve over 70,000 people. On the third day, a million healthy relief-meals are prepared for school students in Africa and Yemen. The fourth day supports sponsorships for pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah (Hajj) and sponsorship for preachers. The campaign then shifts its focus on the fifth day to support orphan centers by constructing facilities and conducting maintenance to renew buildings and facilities for our orphans. On the sixth day, the campaign provides scholarships for students at Direct Aid universities in Kenya and Somalia. The seventh day is allocated to support healthcare projects such as medical caravans, vaccination campaigns, surgical camps, awareness and prevention programs, and medical team training. On the eighth day, it coincides with the monthly 10×10 Direct Aid campaign to support various projects with a single donation.
The association concludes The Best Days campaigns with the Arafat Endowment campaign, which serves 20 diverse endowment projects to ensure the sustainability of the association’s projects in Africa and Yemen. Endowment donations represent ongoing charity that continues for the donor as long as Allah wills. Direct Aid also provides a service for sacrificing animals in the most impoverished communities in Africa and Yemen.
Direct Aid invited all its donors through all social media platforms and its branches within the country of Kuwait to participate in these campaigns, which represent a way to perform good deeds and contribute to making the most of the divine blessings during the most blessed days of this world, as indicated by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. We ask Allah to accept our and your righteous deeds.
