Direct-Aid revives the Sunnah of the Adahi, and is keen to distribute it in the poorest communities in Africa and Yemen in order to achieve compassion among Muslims in the seasons of obedience and worship. The cost of the sacrifice varies according to each country and the type of sacrifice available in the country (goats – cows – sheep – camels).

The Director-General, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sumait, stated that “the sacrifice season is one of the most challenging seasons in terms of prior preparation, tight planning and rapid implementation, so that the implementation is elaborate and appropriate to the assignment that the philanthropists have placed on the Direct-Aid Society to carry out its sacrifices in accordance with Shari’ah and achieve the purposes, and in which coordination is continuous. Around the clock between the association and its offices in Africa and Yemen, then the working teams deployed in each country, until the completion of the implementation of the last sacrifice. Al-Sumait explained that the total number of sacrifices that were carried out this year amounted to 47,628 sacrifices, thanks to Allah, of which 1,428,840 benefited in 27 African countries and Yemen. A number of 7,004 sacrifices were carried out of the total sacrifices allocated to the proceeds of the Adahi Waqf, in which the value of the share is 400 dinars, benefiting 210,120 people. We ask Allah Almighty to restore the season of goodness to the Muslims.
