Today, Direct Aid is participating in an urgent visit to the Kingdom of Morocco as part of a delegation from Kuwait to oversee the distribution of disaster relief supplies to the affected areas following the devastating earthquake in Morocco. This collaboration is carried out in partnership with the Kuwaiti Society for Relief.

Majid Al-Zaabi, Deputy Director-General of Direct Aid for Resource Development, emphasized the importance of contributing to the campaign launched by the organization days ago on its website. The campaign aims to provide food assistance to combat food deficiency and medical aid to prevent the rise of disease and infection. Additionally, it includes the provision of shelter materials such as mattresses, blankets, tents, clothing, and more for the affected individuals. During his visit to the earthquake-stricken areas in Morocco, Al-Zaabi expressed gratitude to the donors of Direct Aid and encouraged them to spread the campaign among their friends and relatives to contribute to its coverage and expedite its implementation.

It’s worth mentioning that the fundraising campaign is still ongoing to provide food, medicine, and shelter to those affected by the disaster, due to the escalating need to rescue the afflicted and minimize losses.
