As part of its ongoing efforts to support education and assist underprivileged families, Direct Aid – Yemen Office has implemented the 2024 School Bag Project, benefiting 7,000 students in rural villages as well as orphans sponsored by the organization’s generous donors.
The school bag project is an annual initiative carried out by the organization, aimed at supporting school students in targeted areas by providing school bags filled with essential educational supplies. This initiative alleviates the financial burden on struggling families and encourages children to continue their education.
Additionally, the project included a health awareness program focusing on personal hygiene and cholera prevention, leveraging the opportunity to educate students and promote a culture of health awareness within the community.
Direct Aid expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to delivering this vital support to children in need, praying that Allah blesses the efforts of the donors and sustains their positive impact on society.
The organization places significant emphasis on education, allocating over 40% of its budget to support educational initiatives across various African countries and Yemen. Direct Aid firmly believes that education is the cornerstone of empowering individuals and developing communities, striving through its projects to build an educated and qualified generation capable of contributing to sustainable development.
