DirectAid in Yemen closed its development projects with small projects competition of (2020-2021)
DirectAid in Yemen has closed its economic empowerment projects for the year of 2020-2021. These projects basically initiated to reduce the rapid increase of unemployment rates, which have become among the highest in the world. The closing ceremony was organized with the small development projects competition for youth in its fourth round, and it was conducted in partnership with (Hemmat Shabab Foundation) in Yemen.
Accordingly, 26 projects won and rewarded in the competition among various projects include servicing projects – economic – agricultural – different crafts, as well as financial grants for supporting the projects with (2,500,000) Yemeni riyals, according to the needs of each project. The number of beneficiaries of these projects has reached more than 300 needy families. DirectAid extended its thanks and gratitude to its field team for their efforts in training and qualifying the owners of projects to be continued and self-reliant.
