Facing the second wave of coronavirus in Africa by Implementing development projects for necessary goods

In conjunction with the increase of deteriorating economic situation in Africa and the rise of the second wave of coronavirus globally, DirectAid Intensified its development projects on producing the necessary commodities. It executed 29 projects of milling and storing grains in order to provide them to orphans and the needy people in the poor African areas as well as providing the grains to farmers at lower prices than the market. Such projects have benefited more than 19,500 poor person and employing many girls and mothers of the poor families.

At the same time, DirectAid implemented 16 bakeries projects in several African countries to provide bread to the poor and remote communities and the benefit of these projects has reached to more than 7000 person. Top of that, DirectAid’s team continuously guides the needy people who own and manage such projects to ensure the sustainability of generating profit in order to stop their destitution and continue to provide necessary commodities to the poor societies.
