Bangui – Central African Republic | Wednesday, June 4, 2025

As part of efforts to support marginalized and underserved communities and to enhance basic service infrastructure, a major artesian well—bearing the code 2024CAFWAT5001—was officially inaugurated in the Aboui Rabeh area, within one of the secondary schools in the capital Bangui. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of State for National Education, along with members of the ministerial delegation and local community leaders.

The well will serve as a sustainable source of clean and potable water, benefiting not only the school’s students but also hundreds of local families, including children and the elderly.

Attendees expressed their deep appreciation to Direct Aid and its donors, recognizing the well as a vital addition that will help improve daily living conditions and ease the burden of water access—especially in light of the difficult circumstances faced by many regions in the Central African Republic.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt prayers from residents and students, asking God to reward all those who contributed to this blessed initiative and to grant them lasting rewards.
