An artesian well was officially inaugurated today in Wajir West County, Republic of Kenya, in the presence of the elected Member of Parliament for the constituency. During the ceremony, the MP expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Direct Aid and the State of Kuwait—its government and people—for their generous support and ongoing efforts to assist those affected by drought in Kenya and across Africa.
The Member of Parliament emphasized that this humanitarian project marks an important step toward improving the living and health conditions of many local communities suffering from water scarcity and lack of basic services. He also highlighted the significance of sustaining such development initiatives that contribute to stability and long-term progress in affected regions.
He concluded by commending the leading humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait through its continued support of vital projects in water, education, and healthcare sectors across Africa, calling for the continuation of such constructive cooperation to serve the most vulnerable populations.
