Opening of “Al-Barakah” Radio in Ghana: A Leading Platform for Awareness Media

Ghana – The Direct Aid Association has opened “Al-Barakah” radio in the Republic of Ghana, as an awareness-raising media platform aimed at spreading Islamic values and enhancing community involvement in societal development, as part of the donors’ contributions to the 10×10 campaigns.

“Al-Barakah” radio is a pioneering platform in awareness media, dedicated to spreading religious and social awareness, encouraging active community participation, and striving to offer meaningful content that serves various segments of Ghanaian society.

The radio station is managed by Suleiman Isa, a former orphan sponsored by Direct Aid, who benefited from a scholarship provided by the association, which enabled him to graduate in administration and media studies. He is now leading a media project that serves his country and community.

This initiative reaffirms the mission of Direct Aid in empowering individuals and achieving comprehensive development through supporting education and purposeful media.
