Direct Aid is expanding its work in the academic and educational field on the African continent

The Ummah University in Kenya, affiliated with the Direct Aid Society, obtained the charter of the university formally by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The accreditation was signed in the presence of the Minister of Education in Kenya, the Chairman of the Direct Aid Society, Dr. / Abdul Rahman Al-Muhailan, the President of the Board of Trustees, the President of the University Council, and the representative of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Kenya, Mr Ahmed Al-Bakhit, in the presidential palace in Mombasa. In Kenya, the society’s founder, Dr Abdul Rahman Al-Sumait, may God have mercy on him, wished and sought.

It is worth noting that Al Ummah University is the first private Islamic university in Kenya. The university’s philosophy is based on Islamic principles and values ​​with a focus on the full development of individual talent, moral integrity, hard work and competitiveness to encourage excellence in all areas of life, to promote a social transformation based on Islamic principles while promoting peaceful coexistence between people with different faiths, race and ethnicity.

The University offers more than 27 courses in more than 26 programs for undergraduate, graduate, diploma and certificates programs and the University of the Nation is dedicated to providing the best educational experience for students with its full commitment to excellence in academic standards from educational design to research and student services.

The Direct Aid Society also seeks to expand its work in the academic and educational field on the African continent and that its universities obtain accreditation by the official authorities in the country.
