Direct Aid Society held its Ordinary General Assembly for the year 2017 on Sunday, attended by 80% of the members of the Society.
Dr. AbdulRahman Al-Muhailan, Chairman of the Board of Directors who chaired the Society’s work opened the meeting by reviewing Society’s work its most important achievements. He said “We, in Direct Aid, proud of these various achievements that contribute significantly to the development of African societies and making the Society a global leader in health services it provides in Africa, as well as its interest in public education quality and higher education in particular. It also provides water projects to be a reason for a stable and secure life for poor and remote villages and cities”.
The review of Society’s administrative and financial reports also included members point of view and recommendations of the humanitarian link between the sponsor and the orphan through continuous reports and follow-up construction projects improvement reports, followed by Society’s credence of the estimated budget for 2018, then credence of (Direct Aid endowment) declaration, which will contribute to the development of endowment work in Africa and developing endowment expenses.
The meeting included opening of the election for the Board of Directors members, where the candidates received the recommendation as follows:

He commended the reports submitted and the good management of the Society to the external audit office and representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, whose attendance was important in monitoring the performance of the General Assembly.
