Direct Aid Society held last week its regular general assembly for the year 2018 AD with the completion of the quorum and in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor

The association was opened by the Chairman of the Board Dr Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Muhailan thanked the association’s workers for the accomplishments achieved last year, which represented a major breakthrough in improving the level of services and quality of projects through which direct aid seeks to achieve a better life for people in Africa and leave a sustainable impact in poor villages and cities.

Including the Alef Bear campaign was a big challenge to make a better life for the residents of remote areas, thanks to God, and then with the support of the people of the good we managed to overcome it and the wells were nearing completion before the completion of the year

Also, the number of El-Ayoun camps that completed 70 camps is a new number that neither the aid nor the charitable societies have implemented in one year.

The President of the Council also added, explaining the interest of direct aid in the universities, which resulted in a great development for the four universities that run them, and the development of the preparation of scholarships they offer and raising the level of education in schools of direct aid

The association held its regular general meeting and succeeded in adopting the financial and administrative report for the year 2018, and the report of the external auditor, reviewing the administrative and financial reports of the association. A discussion and recommendations of the members of the association were made, followed by the association’s approval of the estimated budget for the year 2019.

The General Assembly concluded its work with the members of the Board of Directors obtaining confidence and praise for representatives of social affairs and work, praising the submitted reports and good management of the association whose attendance was important in monitoring the performance of the General Assembly.
